We aim to align our UPK, TK-12 Multilingual Learner Support, and TK-12 Workforce/ Teacher Induction work under a common mission to recruit and prepare the very best PK-3 educators who: reflect the diversity of our youngest children, receive support and guidance to pursue meaningful PK-3 careers, give back to our Central Valley communities, and deliver instruction that celebrates and sustains children’s home languages and cultures while ensuring that children’s first years of school set them up for a lifetime of opportunity.
Our Goal
Ensuring our youngest multilingual learners have access to programs taught by highly skilled educators ensures future educational success in reaching kindergarten readiness, reading and math proficiency at grade level, and ultimately postsecondary success.
